What is the difference between consultation and all the other services you offer?

We have three types of services: Do It Yourself(DIY), Done With You (DWY), and Done For You (DFY)

Our consultancy service is a DWY service, which means we guide you on the right way to create your pitch deck and share helpful tools to simplify the process.

For our DIY services, we share pitch deck questions, checklists, examples, and templates for different software to help you build your pitch deck.

For our DFY services, you complete the startup questionnaire or hold a virtual call with our team (optional), and we create content and/or design your pitch deck slides on your behalf.

How long is the consultation?

A consultation lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour. However, the minimum billing is done for 1 hour. Based on our experience, 1 hour is the minimum time we would need to grasp a startup concept and guide the founder on the best way to create their pitch deck.

How do you price your consultation?

Our consultation packages are billed for 1 hour. Every session will be timed, so you are billed only when our consultation exceeds 1 hour.

I already have a pitch deck. Will your freelance pitch deck consultant help me?

Yes, our consultants can review your pitch deck to tell you which slides you could be missing, direct you on which slides may be unnecessary, or just guide you on design matters

Does the service guarantee pitch deck funding?

No. No pitch deck consultant can guarantee funding. Getting funding depends on several factors beyond your pitch deck. For instance, the strength of your solution, your presentation skills, or even investor interest, among other things. Our service is to help boost your chances of funding, not guarantee it.

Can the service help me fill out blanks in a pitch deck template I found online?

No. There are many ways to create a pitch deck. However, most pitch deck templates online are designed by designers and not pitch deck experts. Trying to force a template to fit a specific pitch-creation style, like the one we offer, is harder than guiding you from scratch. Instead of us helping you edit the template, we can share our prebuilt template with guidelines on how you can use it to build your own pitch deck.

Does this include creating pitch deck content for me?

No. This is a Do With You solution(DWY). That means we guide you through as you do it. If you would like us to do content for you, you can order our full pitch deck design service.

Does the package include pitch deck design ?

No. However, it does include us guiding you on how to design your pitch deck and sharing the tools and templates to help you do so.

Do you help with fundraising?

No. However, we can share a few companies that the founders we have worked with in the past have worked with for your review and consideration.

Do you offer assistance in pitch deck presentation?

No. We only specialize in pitch deck design. However, we can recommend a few companies that deal with that to help you. However, you need to make your own judgment about which solution would work best for you.

Do you sign an NDA with a client?

Yes. If you would like us to sign an NDA, we can. However, you should know that no investor will sign an NDA before viewing your pitch deck.
